YANN NIRVANA YOY (born 1995) is a Dutch painter working and living in Hasselt, Belgium. Her main interests to paint are the position of women in current day society and the human body. She comments on the things she notices around her in everyday live and displays her opinions and observations across the canvas, often times in an humorous way. Using a more naieve and intuitive style of painting, she draws attention to the absurdity she witnesses online and in real life.
